World Glaucoma Week 2025 Celebration
World Glaucoma Week is a global initiative organized by the World Glaucoma Association. This year’s theme, “Uniting for a Glaucoma-Free World” focuses on bringing communities worldwide to fight together against glaucoma blindness.
Since most glaucoma patients have no symptoms, the majority of those who have the condition are unaware of it. Early Detection of disease can lead to early disease control, and sight-threatening vision loss can be prevented with different treatment modalities.
Himalaya Eye Hospital is committed to raising awareness about the Silent Thief of Sight – Glaucoma! At our hospital, a group counseling session was conducted, and Prof. Dr. Indra Man Maharjan, our glaucoma specialist, educated patients on the early detection, treatment, and prevention of vision loss.
