Himalaya Eye Hospital celebrated it's glorious 29th Anniversary on first march 2022
On 1st March 2022 Himalaya Eye Hospital (HEH) celebrated its 29th anniversary. The glorious 28 years of HEH were celebrated in presence of the Governor of Gandaki Province Hon. Prithvi Man Singh Gurung, The Vice Chancellor of Pokhara University Professor Dr. Prem Narayan Aryal, the members of the HEH Hospital Management Committee, members of Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh (NNJS), Kaski district chapter and Gandaki Province chapter, the staff of HEH and students of Himalaya Eye Institute and the media personnel.
In the programme, the chief guest Hon. Printhvi Man Singh Gurung launched the annual report and magazine for year 2021 and the guest of honour Prof. Dr. prem Narayan Aryal launched the revised clinical protocol of HEH. Prof. Dr. Dil bahadur Kshettry who is also the member of the hospital management committee and chairman of the NNJS Gandaki Province Chapter and the president of the HEH staff union Mr. Prem Kumar Nakarmi gave the welcome remarks. Prof. Dr. Eliya Shrestha provided an update on the activities and achievement of HEH in year 2021. Pawan Baral, the Research Officer of HEH provided an update on the research activities from 2020-2021.
The chief guest and guest of honour felicitated the promoted staff members of HEH and the staff members Dr. Hara Maya Gurung and Tulasi Dahal for their individual donation to HEH.
The Bachelor and Master of Optometry students exhibited education materials on eye donation, refractive error and contact lenses. All students were provided certificate of participation while the winning team was awarded medals and certificate.
